Kay Narula, M.ADS, BCBA, Clinical Director

Kay Narula, M.ADS, BCBA, Clinical DirectorKay is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director of Hope Autism Services. She received her Master of Applied Disability Studies from Brock University in Ontario. She has over 10 years of experience using Applied Behaviour Analysis to teach children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

With experience working in both government funded and private practice setting; she is also currently teaches in psychology and Autism programs at Seneca College.

Kay is an active participant in the community via various initiatives like awareness campaigns through TV & Radio interviews, workshops and seminars.

She is a member of Ontario Association of Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA) and Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrics and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).

Paola Egusquiza, BA, BHs. Ed., Senior Therapist

Paola Egusquiza, BA, BHs. Ed., Senior TherapistOver 15 years of experience working with children with special disabilities. Paola was granted an International Degree as a Speech Pathologist and Communication Disorders from Lima, Peru and La Havana, Cuba.In Canada, Paola holds Ontario Teachers Certificate and has dedicated and shared her international expertise working with children with ASD, applying the Principles of Behaviour Analysis in IBI/ABA for the past 12 years. She has worked as an ASD Consultant advocating for children under the ASD spectrum,supporting families providing, consulting services, functional a assessments, parent coaching and behaviour modification therapy. She is actively pursuing her Post graduate studies in the field.

Dr. Francisco Barrera, C.Psych, BCBA-D

Dr. Francisco Barrera, C.Psych, BCBA-DDr. Barrera is a Registered Psychologist in Ontario and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 30 years’ experience providing applied behaviour analysis services.  Dr. Barrera is a member of the Following organizations: Canadian Registry of Health Service Providers in Psychology, Ontario Psychological Association, Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis, Canadian Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, Analysis of Behavior Association International. European  Association for Behaviour Analysis, American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, National Association for Dual Diagnosis, Ontario Association for Developmental Disabilities,  Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards.

In addition, Dr. Barrera is an Advisory Board Member of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment,  a Designated Capacity Assessor  (Ministry of the Attorney General), and Member of Professional Advisory/Ethical Review Boards (St Lawrence College, George Brown College, Fanshawe College, Christian Horizons, and CK Community Living Association). He has also received the Excellence and Contribution to Behaviour Analysis Award- Clinical (Application of Behaviour Analysis) from the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis in 2009.

Dr. Barrera provides clinical supervision for IBI/ABA programs within the South West and Central West Regions of Ontario. In addition, he provides psychological assessment and consultation for individuals presenting with severe behavioural challenges (e.g., self injury, aggression).

Carobeth Zorzos, M.A., C. Psych., BCBA

Carobeth Zorzos, M.A., C. Psych., BCBACarobeth is a Registered Psychologist and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with Autism and other disabilities in a variety of settings since 2001.  She is currently Director of Autism and Behavioural Services at Dalton Associates.  Carobeth works collaboratively with Hope Autism Services by providing clinical supervision to our DFO and insurance funded clients through Dalton Associates.

Heather Jurchuk, MSc., SLP

Heather Jurchuk, MSc., SLPHeather is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She has experience working with pre-school, school-aged and adult populations in the areas of speech and language development, articulation/phonology, stuttering and voice disorders. She also has extensive experience working with individuals with a variety of developmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down Syndrome. She is certified by Hanen for the ”It Takes Two to Talk” program and has experience implementing and utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) methods such as the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) for early language development. Heather enjoys designing client-centred assessments/treatments and actively encourages the involvement of clients’ caregivers in order to maximize clients’ progress. Heather graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), and is a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists (OSLA).

Adina Ramlochan, Instructor Therapist

Adina Ramlochan, Instructor TherapistAdina specialized in Psychology at the University of Toronto and plans on pursuing her Masters in ABA/IBI. She has always had a passion for working with kids and making a difference in the lives of others! After being introduced to the field of ABA/IBI, Adina knew that this was the ideal field for her to be in as she found it extremely rewarding to see the progress that kids can make over time, especially with the help of a great team! Adina looks forward to continuing her career at Hope Autism and being able to assist children and their families who have been affected by Autism.

April Morris, Instructor Therapist

April Morris, Instructor TherapistApril holds a bachelor degree in Sociology and a diploma in Child and Youth Work.  She is also has her non-violent crisis intervention and CPR training. April has been in the field for more than 8 years and is passionate and enthusiastic about her work she does!

Brieann Mulligan, Instructor therapist

Brieann Mulligan, Instructor therapistBrieann has a double major in Social Development Studies and Psychology with a specialization in education from University of Waterloo. She also holds a certificate in American sign language. She has been working with children with ASD for over five years and is actively pursuing her Masters in Science with specialization in ABA.

Michael White, Instructor Therapist

Michael White, Instructor TherapistMichael is a Child and Youth Work program graduate from Sheridan College as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University. Michael is trained in First Aid/CPR as well as non-violent crisis intervention. He is passionate about working with children and youth with ASD; bringing energy and excitement to his work at Hope Autism.

Justin Brunsveld, Instructor Therapist

He is very passionate about his work and currently holds an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) certificate, Crisis Prevention (CPI) certificate, Functional Behavioural Assessment (FBA) certificate, Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology, and is currently completing a BHS diploma program at Seneca College. Justin looks forward to continuing his career at Hope Autism Services and assisting families.
